Parajanya - The God of Rain

Parajanya is the God of rain. When Uttanka went to the kingdom of the serpents under the ground to seek ear-rings that had been stolen by Takshaka, he saw a handsome man accompanied by a great horse. This man was Parajanya, and the horse accompanying him was Agni.
